I refer to my artistic style as "Magical Realism. I paint "Intimate Glimpses" of our world that might otherwise go unnoticed. The content is recognizable, though is not in a context that the viewer is accustomed to.

Icy Fog has decended upon the earth. and with it, blessed quiet, and the tranquility of solitude.

I have a trust in the turning of the Seasons. Autumn rolls along in its splendor and brilliance; the leaves a symphony, with its many movements of radiant color. When I walk in the sunshine on these crisp and shiny days, my feet are , as though, off the ground. My heart expands and if this body's death arrives, I will ever savor this moment of soaring.

The frost turned to puddles in a moment and the true, post Equinox, Spring unfolds with warmth and endless miracles where new growth lay in wait. It is so beautiful. I have written peotry all through my years. It comes when the inspiration hits, and I must write down the thoughts that flow, or burst inside.

The emotions that we feel, as human beings are like the colors of the rainbow. They are distinct and beautiful and flow into each other, yet without any one of them, the rainbow is incomplete. Poems carry these emotions into a realm where they can feel safe when shared.

The Poems come from the Spiritual, Emotional, and Mental self and are often guided.

Eternity
American Collegiate: The totality of time without beginning or end; infinite time.
I imagine to begin to define "eternity", one must first have an understanding of infinity. As each is as boundless as the other.
American Collegiate: Infinity: Unbounded Space, Time or Quantity.
To grasp the eternal, the infinite, one must let go of any need to place existence in a limited realm. We must release our hold on the idea that all things are tangible, have form, that there’s a start and finish, a beginning and an end. This precept requires that we shed old, ingrained ideas of how our expectations lodge the Universe into a set, mentally acceptable arena.
As we gaze at the night sky, contemplation of infinite potential, takes us beyond all that we see. Thought itself, meanders on past our own galaxy to the next, and continues forward on a journey where there is another and another and always will be, yet another. As a traveler takes one step and then another along a road, yet sees only where she is and the immediate space which surrounds her at that particular moment in time, she knows with absolute certainty that with the next step there will still be space surrounding her and that she will inevitably move into the next moment where the time exists to take that step.
As in psyberspace, the instant that a person is looking at or finding one bit of information, new information is being added that changes the quantity and shape of the knowledge available, and the next instant it changes again.
There is no beginning nor end.
With surrendering embrace of the eternal, comes the tranquil assurance, of the soul’s journey through infinite chapters of growth and experience.

As I walk into the hills, I am inspired by the new beginnings. The beginnings of tiny shoots,

as they push up into the sunlight, having spent the long winter buried beneathe the snow. The beginnings of buds and branches as they stretch forth with new growth. The fresh smell of the soil, as it once more feels the warmth and air of the Springtime. Oh blessed Mother Earth, I stand in awe of the endless miracles you give.

As I walk into the canyon, I am endlessy inspired by the beginnings. The beginnings, as the little shoots push up into the sunlight, after lying in wait, beneathe many feet of snow, for an entire winter. The beginnings, of trees stretching their branches skyward, bursting forth, budding and stretching with new growth. The beginnings of soil made fresh by the freezing earth, now thawing, to become supple again. Oh blessed earth, what endless miracles you give, and in giving share.

For each body of work there are studies, which help to wrok out the images I want to successfully create, to convey the inspiration for my Exhibition.

These were painted during the completion of works for a One Woman Show entitled "The Seasonsin Balance". They are seeming to be a stepping stone of inspiration for my newest One Woman Exhibition, to be hung in May, Entitled "Intimate Glimpses". May you feel new healing and connection on this day. Hello to You

My name is Catey Luna. It is my pen name. I came into this world as Catherine Ware. I am the daughter of Tom Ware, a wonderful sculptor, and Maryanna Ware, a fabulous writer and human being. Maryanna crossed over to the next chapter in her soul's journey, in April of 2008. It was a great loss, though her Spirit remains always. Our connection in the Eternal Consciousness is with me still.

My Work "Magical Realism"
Four major concepts guide my work: the great abundance, coupled with beauty that the earth about us continuously avails , the submersion into one or Other of the intimate realms of nature, a need to see and perfect the richest quality of presentation in a given medium, and the expression of Universal possibility and growth.
It’s a miracle with what perfection our world constantly
Buds, Blossoms and Fruits
Germinates, Develops
And is Born
Lives and Dies.

This greatness is all too often overlooked, taken for granted. My wish is to remind, to refresh the point of view.
Within the whole lives an endless wealth and bounty. Each holds its own unique form and beauty. I want to bring you in and surround you with it. Let you see it as I do.
I would fall short, could I not depict what my eyes see and my mind assimilates with a competent richness and understanding of the medium chosen for a particular piece. This is a far reaching, unending goal, yet necessary.

All connect in Conscious Union with the Eternal
In the Ocean of Universal Love
